RoHS Directive

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS Directive, was drawn up in the European Union to protect human health and the hazardous substances. The directive applies to most manufacturers, sellers, distributors, and recycles of electrical and electronic components or equipment sold or used in the European Union. 

The Directive restricts the use of six hazardous substances in these products - lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers. Laboratory testing can help you assure compliance with quick, reliable testing of your component materials to verify levels of restricted substances. All of your results will be fully documented in a Certified Test Report received shortly after all testing is completed.
